- Treatment can last 48 hours to 5 days depending on the stain level.
- The chemical will cause a combined chlorine reading for 30 days.
- Be sure to test both free and total chlorine to avoid over-chlorinating.
- Verify treatment with Jack’s Magic Stain ID kit.
- Circulate the pool water continuously.
- Bypass your pool’s heater when using this product.
- Avoid using shock in your pool for two weeks following treatment.

Jack’s Magic The Copper & Scale Stuff is a slow No-Drain acid wash treatment for all pool surfaces and types. For the most effective and powerful treatment, use with 1/2 gallon muriatic acid or 1 lb pH decreaser per 10,000 gallons of water and 12 ounces of Jack’s Magic Blue Stuff, Magenta Stuff, Pink Stuff, or Purple Stuff. Saves time and money without having to acid wash and drain your pool!
Be Advised: Due to low pH levels of water during treatment, swimming is not recommended for people or pets.
