PristinePower is a non-chlorine shock oxidizer that eliminates the organic contaminants responsible for cloudy, dull spa water. As part of the PristineBlue water care system by Innovative Water Care (formerly Earth Science Laboratories), PristinePower uses potassium monopersulfate (MPS) to oxidize oils, lotions, sweat, and other organic waste without adding chlorine to your water.

How MPS Shock Works
Potassium monopersulfate breaks down organic contaminants through oxidation — converting body oils, lotions, cosmetics, and sweat into harmless compounds that your filter can remove or that off-gas naturally. Unlike chlorine shock, MPS does not sanitize or kill bacteria, so it should always be used alongside an EPA-registered sanitizer such as PristineBlue or chlorine.
